Fall & Halloween Plush on the way!
It's that time again. Hard to believe it, but I go back to work/ school tomorrow! So I just have to list some fall items I have been working on.
There is such a rich feeling to Fall colors. I took out all of my Fall magazines (And I have a ton of them)! I like to look through magazines to get myself in the mood to design. It is sometimes hard to design for the holidays when it is 95 degrees here in Virginia Beach!
So here are a few Fall friends for you to enjoy. All of them are at my Etsy shop...and a new Witch is on the way!

Day 240
Here's another shot from my grandparents' house/farm. They have lived at their current residence for 40 years and the staple, 140 year old tree that has provided amazing shade in the front yard came tumbling down during a recent brief yet powerful storm. This is a shot of my grandparents in front of the remaining stump. If you look at the fence you can see where part has been replaced from this beast falling on it (on the left).
Something I'm Loving right now
I was browsing Etsy, and ran into this girl joojoo's store. Everything is SO CUTE. I really wish I could describe it with another word besides cute, but the colors, the shapes, and the animals and things, It's simply cute. I think these pictures speak for themselves.
She's got a great variety of types of creations as well, from drawings to hand painted items, jewelry, magnetic tiny animals, and more.

Mosaic Guy
I saw this man's work at Magic City Art Connection a while back. I'm wishing I had taken more photos but I don't have any but this one to share. His name is Steve Terlizzese and he works in Chattanooga, TN.
His website is here. And shows you a bit more, but it's nothing compared to seeing it in real life. So detailed and intricate! And the pieces all have their purpose.
I wonder what his workroom looks like?

Day 238
Hopped up to Nashville Sunday night for the Damien Jurado show (with The Weiss Family—a group that is more and less than mewithouYou) and on the way we stopped by to see my grandparents. Here's a frame of my Granddad. I still have a few to scan, but I like this one just fine.
Man, I'm tired.
Lego 4x5...progress is being made. Lego blocks acquired from Gregory (as mentioned, I think) and Paul and I played with design ideas tonight. I modeled some of them in the Lego Digital Designer. There is a great deal more design and engineering to be done, but surely I will see this project through. Maybe I should concentrate more on getting work than tinkering with Lego.
Oh well.

The Charming Cherub
I love these pieces by Debra Farley. She handmakes vintage postcard jewelry (shown), broken china jewelry, and from found objects. I saw her jewelry a few months ago at the Magic City Art Connection in Birmingham but I couldn't choose what I wanted to buy. I wish I had a photo of the whole set up, there was so many to choose from!
See her website here: debrafarley.com

I wonder what I said on July 20th?
Number of tweets over the past 3 months.
Number of followers over the past 3 months.
Number of followers for the past month.
It says I updated 16 times on the 20th, but looking through my history that's not true, although I did a lot on the 21st.
Also it's interesting that I've been consistently posting 6 times a day.

Teresafied - Seattle trip
A while back I took a trip to Seattle for fun, with a few friends. I was so behind that I never saw that my friend put up her photos from the trip. Here they are! You can see me in a lot of pictures, which is pretty exciting/scary for me because I rarely see myself in photos.

Summer Angels
This always happens to me!!!
I have about three weeks left before school starts and I get really busy with orders. I LOVE IT!!!
It is so much fun to line up my projects. I actually cut all the fabrics out and put them in zip lock bags. I label them by due dates. Then I can grab a bag and my sewing basket and head out to wherever the family wants to go. I did Chucky Cheese yesterday...the moms must have thought I was CRAZY!! But my little Katie played in the maze area, and I could sit right at the opening and watch her have fun! NICE!!
So, I have an ETSY friend http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5539002 who has been in Somerset Magazine and the sister magazines several times. She has encouraged me to send in some work. So I made this Angel and I am sending her in!
You must stop by Your Angil's shop at the link above. If you are looking for unique tags, supplies and fun stuff in general...you will love it!!

Au Fil De..
I do not speak French. I think that this title may mean "On the fly," but that's according to the small amount a google search could tell me.
I've followed this flickr stream for a while, and I always love the photos. They are simply gorgeous. This person really has an eye for beauty in simplicity, but also has it down to a science. It's amazing. Every photo is beautiful. Extreme depth of field, texture, antiqued tones. They really have quite a collection.

Mommy & Doll Set
I almost forgot to add a new Mommy & baby Doll set to my post. This is a new design I made recently. I am thinking of making a larger one with the mommy having three pockets with a baby in each. I think that would be fun for a little girl to play with. My daughter is 8 years old now and I can't get this one away from her!
