Day 048

Another group shot. This time at the home garden of one of the women who volunteers at the Allen Stone Clinic in Bujagali. This is her family, including kiddos, and parents. Her husband is not present, but it isn't because he died of AIDS, as is pretty common, sadly. In Sarah's case it is that he was pretty awful to her and their religious beliefs also were splitting and she couldn't be with him any more, so she packed up the kids and headed out. I have audio of her story somewhere. Talk about courage...she seems to have it (especially in her context)..

Day 045

Paul + Rose + their kids + other kids who stay at their orphange. This is a group shot in the road right after their church service the morning we left. Its funny how strange they look to me in clothes that aren't brown and ripped.

The Cup

This is a cup that has reoccurred in my life, and I'm sure yours and everyone else's! I decided to take a photo every time i saw it, and it made for some oddly interesting photos. My favorite ones, are like where's waldo. Try to find the cup!
So then i made a flickr group for it. It's really exciting to get other people in on this, and see what they see.
